Müller Time

image

The Image Now gallery in Dublin is showing “forty-eight posters” by Swiss graphic design legend Josef Müller-Brockmann from May 31st. Both the website and the catalogue look as though they do justice to the work on show.

If you’re a JMB fan then check out the incredible animation inspired by Müller-Brockmann’s timeless posters by Gary Butcher (he doesn’t just blog for 30gms you know). It was featured in Creative Review’s Digital Vision competition and for the first time it’s online here.

I just found your Remix movie yesterday night and must say - wo.Ow. I really love it. Had to watch it over and over again including slowmotion.

Could you please tell me what musicartist were featured in the movie?

Thanks and big respect to the composer and remixer!

Hi Quickster

Thanks for the kind comments. The artist is a really nice guy called Eric Wahlforss. He performs under the name ‘Forss’ and the track he very kindly let me use for the animation is ‘Soulhack’ off the album of the same name on the ‘Sonar Kollektiv’ label.

Check out his site at http://forss.to  you’ll see another of my animations using a different, but equally amazing track off the Soulhack album.

Cheers,  Gary.
